1991-92 F.C. Internazionale Milano season : ウィキペディア英語版
1991–92 Inter Milan season

F.C. Internazionale Milano had a relatively mediocre season, in which it won only ten out of 34 league games contested, yet was never in danger of relegation, because of its 17 draws, which meant half of Inter's games were left without a winner on either side. Inter only scored 28 league goals, despite having fearsome German striker Jürgen Klinsmann and playmaker Lothar Matthäus at its disposal. Inter was saved by its defence with goalkeeper Walter Zenga being in top form, and also including captain Giuseppe Bergomi plus its third German Andreas Brehme. When Corrado Orrico's defensive football failed to deliver results, president Pellegrini called in former striker Luis Suárez to lead the team for the rest of the season. He was not given a new contract for 1992-93, since Osvaldo Bagnoli from Genoa was appointed to lead the team in the future.
